The fragile economy has taken its toll on employees of Gillette Stadium.
A spokesman for the New England Patriots [team stats] said 5 percent of stadium’s full-time work force received pink slips today.
“Like many businesses nationwide, we are contracting,” said Stacey James, a New England Patriots [team stats] spokesman. “But I think we’ve done it minimally. Today’s reduction in force does not include Patriots, Revolution or Kraft Group employees.”
