The Los Angeles County coroner's office have confirmed that the self proclaimed 'King of Pop', Michael Jackson, died Thursday afternoon at the age of 50. The circumstances of Jackson's death are not immediately clear. Paramedics were called to the star's mansion in Belair at approximately 12:12pm Thursday afternoon after he allegedly collapsed after suffering cardiac arrest. The tragedy struck amid an effort by Jackson to resurrect his music career after years of controversial tabloid headlines. Earlier this year, he announced a series of massive back-to-back concerts in London.
