REVERE - Police received a report Wednesday night that four young men held down another young man, beat him then robbed him of a cell phone and $70 at Della Russo Park on Park Avenue.Police arrived and found the victim's face covered in blood. Another male told officers four males held down the victim, beat and robbed him shortly after 10 p.m.
The victims were hanging out near the bleachers when the robbery occurred, police said.
The victim who was not injured told police he believes the suspects were the same people from Chelsea who fired a gun at him recently.
Police combed the area and stopped people who fit the description of the suspects, but it turned out not to be who they were looking for. No arrests were made.
