Wouldn't it be great if you could take your pooch to work? Well, tomorrow you can, because June 26th is Take Your Dog to Work Day.
Created 10 years ago by Pet Sitters International (PSI), this special day was designed to promote pooch adoption from humane societies, animal shelters, and breed rescue clubs and to celebrate how much people love their furry pals.
Before you parade your pup through the office, be sure to clear it with your boss. And check with coworkers to see if they have pet allergies or are fearful of dogs -- scaring your officemates or making them sick would definitely spoil the fun!
If your workplace gives you the "A-OK," and your dog is in good health (make sure all of his shots are up to date), then go for it! Just remember to take whatever you'll need to keep your pup happy and comfortable for the entire day (bed, treats, toys, etc.), because if you want to continue the tradition, you'll want your best bud behaving at his absolute best!
