The US version stars Rufus Sewell. He was Kate Winslet's love interest prior to meeting Jack Black in the movie The Holiday, with Cameron Diaz and Jude Law. I thought he was cross-eyed in that movie, and there appears to be something going on with his right eye in the photo, but he doesn't look that way in the series. Sewell also appeared in The Illusionist as the Crowned Prince Leopold who was supposed to marry Jessica Biel until the illusionist, and former love, Ed Norton came back into her life. I actually couldn't believe that Biel picked Norton over Sewell in that movie. They should have cast someone else in Norton's role to make it believable, or just had Sewell and Norton switch roles. In this new series, Sewall plays Dr. Hood, a biophysicist and Special Science Advisor to the FBI. Last nights episode was a cross between CSI and House, but not as great as either series. Nice looking guy, love his voice, alright actor, I'd jump his bones, but I don't think the series is gonna make it.
