The synthpop outfit, which brings its sweet brand of pop to the Middle East in Cambridge on Friday, was plugging along on its own Archenemy label when Cordless Recordings came calling.
“We liked their business model about just throwing their resources behind bands that kind of already had their own thing going on and just needed a little extra push,” singer Liz Enthusiasm said.

Then came the lipstick. The band was approached by two cosmetics makers - one who is creating handmade Freezepop-branded lip balm, and another collaborating with the singer to perfect the exact shade of “Enthusiasm-pink” lipstick.
