Last Night's Performance

Last night we went to a very entertaining performance of "Knock 'em Dead" presented by the Feeney Players at St. Joe's College in Standish, Maine.

"Knock 'em Dead" is a 'you solve-it' comedy murder mystery. It features 5 contestants competing for the Vinnie Bumpcuss Stars of Tomorrow Talent Search competition. After a series of unfortunate events, the owner is found murdered and the 5 contestants and the emcee are the obvious suspects. With the help of the audience, we discover who Vinnie's murderer is and the motive behind it.

Cast of characters include: Louis Girlando as Hal Brown, an undercover police officer who pretends to be a ventriliquist to investigate a rumor of a crime about to happen at the club; Our very own, Lynda Consolo as comedian Roxie Brown, the smart talking quick witted comedian who has no problem knocking her audiences dead and a past she wishes she could leave behind him; Heidi Cross as an energetic, flag waving, baton twirling Bamby (with a 'Y') Lynn; Very funny Kris Hanks as one half of an Over the Rainbow dog act who performs with Fifi, his love, his pet; Chiara Ferrante as Lotta Verboten the Jazz singer from "The Convent" in Toledo with a really bad smoking habit; Allen Vaughan as Lou Dumbello the emcee who thinks he's in charge of the show, but doesn't have a clue what's going on backstage; Allison Persol as The Great Somnambulo, the hypnotist with a past and has a flair for putting her audience to sleep; Rachael Tordoff as Wendell, Hall Brown's puppet and partner on the force who sees more than she cares to when left alone backstage. Last, but not least, Caelin Moore as Vinnie...theater owner and dead guy. Caelin's performance was outstanding from the minute the office door was opened to the time spent flat on the floor with a knife in her back.

The Crew included: Christina Alger; Aimee Oulette, Kim DiGiovine, Diana Hildreth, Evan Angers, Katelyn Brown, Cassandra Peltzman, Elise Chabot, Sean Caldwell, Kelby Kim, Colleen Hennessey, and Elise Chabot.

Many funny moments and a lot of audience participation. A really MUST SEE production.
